表題のようなくだらないだじゃれを考えておりましたが、これはメルヴィルの有名な小説「白鯨」の出だしです。もちろんだじゃれなのでちょっと変えてます（２ヶ所ありますけどわかります？）原題はMoby Dickですが、このはなしは僕の住んでいるニューイングランド地区、ナンタケットから話が展開していくんですよね。
実はまだちゃんと読んだことは無いので、ニューイングランドに住む身としては、Kindleからダウンロードしたこの原書を一度は読み通したいものです。
